TAM International Inc. hired Scott Myers as Middle East manager and Edward Wharam as country manager for Indonesia and Malaysia, the company said Feb. 10.
Myers has more than 30 years’ experience in the oil and natural gas industry. Previously, he was regional manager for the Middle East and North Africa for Key Energy Services. He also worked for Halliburton Co. in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and the Indian subcontinent, TAM said.
Myers' team will build and promote a strong health, safety and environment culture in the Middle East.
Myers said Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other Middle East countries will be TAM’s first-priority focuses.
Wharam has more than 12 years’ experience in the industry. Previously, he was a business development manager for National Oilwell Varco Inc.
He said that Indonesia’s economy is fast-growing.
Houston-based TAM International Inc. is an oilfield services provider.
