Technip has been awarded a substantial engineering, procurement, installation and construction (EPIC) contract by BP Trinidad and Tobago LLC for the development of the Juniper project to be located off the southeast coast of Trinidad, Technip said.
The scope of work consists of design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, load out and mechanical completion of 4,300-ton topsides that can process 16.7 MMcm/d (590 MMcf/d) of gas; and 6,100-ton jacket.
The contract also will cover the design, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, transport, installation and precommissioning of five 10-in. and 8-in. internal diameter flexible flowlines; 26-in. outside diameter, 10-km (6.2-mile) concrete coated rigid subsea pipeline; an extensive diving campaign to support client’s LNG train and field turnaround; and large number of subsea structures and tie-in spools.
Additionally, the EPIC contract includes the transport and installation of client-supplied umbilicals, trees and flying leads.
Offshore installation is scheduled for the second half of 2016.
