Teekay Offshore Partners LP received new three-year shuttle tanker contracts of affreightment (CoA) with BP Plc (NYSE: BP), Royal Dutch Shell Plc (NYSE: RDS.A) and OMV Group to transport oil produced from the new Glen Lyon FPSO.
The CoAs include extension options. The Glen Lyon is part of the Quad204 development located west of Shetland in the North Sea, the company said in a Sept. 23 press release.
The CoAs are expected to begin in the first half of 2017 with the requirement for about two shuttle tankers. Teekay will serve these new CoAs with its existing CoA shuttle tanker fleet.
