TGS will conduct a new multiclient 3-D survey offshore Eastern Canada with plans to acquire about 4,300 sq km of seismic data, the company said in a news release. This survey is conducted in partnership with PGS.
The Ramform Valiant, utilizing the PGS GeoStreamer technology, will acquire data in Flemish Pass Basin over exploration license 1135. Data will be acquired during summer of 2015 with final data available to clients in third-quarter 2016, according to the release.
This project aims to provide data in this proven, oil-prone hydrocarbon basin enabling exploration companies to image structural and stratigraphic trends, TGS said in the release.
