Touchstone Exploration Inc. closed the sale of its Kerrobert facility, infrastructure and associated mineral rights, the company said Feb. 1. The disposition’s effective date was Dec. 31, 2015.

The disposition included 6,739 acres of developed and undeveloped land at Kerrobert and mineral rights associated with 10,881 acres of undeveloped land around Edam, Saskatchewan.

The sale also included the facilities, infrastructure, interests and decommissioning obligations related to the Kerrobert combustion project.

The company now has an interest in 32,273 acres of undeveloped land in Saskatchewan, mainly in the Viking Formation.

Through dispositions or joint ventures, Touchstone could monetize remaining noncore Canadian assets, and will focus on developing its acreage in Trinidad and Tobago.
