FMC Technologies has won a contract for an unspecified amount to supply CNR International Ltd. with subsea equipment for the deepwater Baobab field offshore the Ivory Coast.
The field lies in Block CI-40 approximately 25 km offshore. FMC’s scope of supply includes six subsea trees, eight well-heads, three manifolds, and a Subsea Control System including subsea distribution systems and associated topside control systems. The equipment is scheduled for delivery in 2014.
CNR International is the operator of the block, with its partners being Svenska Petroleum and Petroci, the Ivorian National Oil Company.
