ClampOn recently landed a large contract for more than 40 acoustic sensors for the deepwater Kaombo field offshore Angola. The order consists of subsea sand and vibration monitors, as well as subsea PIG detectors, with deliveries to take place throughout this year and next. ClampOn will supply the equipment to Aker Solutions, which last year won a contract from Total E&P Angola to supply the subsea production system for Kaombo, which sits in a water depth of approximately 1,500 m (4,921 ft).
