A deal to supply deck equipment has been landed by Cargotec group subsidiary MacGregor for a pair of Asian anchor handling tug supply (AHTS) vessels with options to supply gear for two more vessels.
Two sets of equipment are to be supplied comprising high pressure windlass/mooring winches, tugger winches; capstans; storage reels and hydraulic power units, for Marco Polo Shipyard in Batam Indonesia.
The equipment, which also includes a 300-tonne winch with 400-tonne brake holding capacity, will be installed on two 150-tonne bollard pull AHTS vessels. The first set of equipment is due for delivery by next June and the second set by September 2015.
