Enterprise Production Partners and Genesis Energy have confirmed that their new crude oil gathering system serving the deepwater Anadarko Petroleum-operated Lucius production area in the southern Keathley Canyon area of the U.S. Gulf is operationally complete and earning revenue as of July 1. The 149-mile, 18-inch trunkline, which has the capacity to carry up to 115,000 bbl/d of oil and which runs from a pipeline junction at South Marsh Island 205 to the Lucius truss spar, is owned by Southeast Keathley Canyon Pipeline Co. (SEKCO), a joint venture between Enterprise and Genesis. Enterprise operates the pipeline.
