E&P magazine is pleased to open our E&P website to outside contributors. We’re interested in articles that offer an industry viewpoint on exploration and development of oil and gas assets, in particular content focused on aspects of drilling, completion and production operations, for onshore and offshore, domestic and international properties.
Benefits of contributing to E&P include the wide distribution of your insights on one of the most respected oil and gas industry publishing platforms. Your work can be appreciated by more than 90,000 monthly visitors. Our readership is global, with 80% of our visitors from the U.S., U.K., Canada and India. Our subscriber base includes top-level E&P and service company executives and managers from across major integrated and independent firms around the world.
As a contributor, you will be able to extend your network to reach our subscriber base. You will have access to our community of the leaders of the oil and gas industry. You will be able to benefit from our extensive social media network as well, as we will share links to your articles with our 100,000+ followers on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. We may also share your articles with other Hart Energy sites that have their own additional networks.
We’re looking to work with analysts, investors, industry professionals and journalists with a particular interest in the oil and gas industry. Particular topics of interest include applications of existing technologies and insights into emerging technologies. We are always keen on case studies that illustrate successful uses of technology.
Here are some guidelines for our content:
all content must be original and in compliance with U.S. copyright laws
length is flexible, but optimum word count is 300 to 800 words
the tone should be compatible with our staff-written content (objective, sophisticated and insightful)
we will supply our Hart Energy style guide (modified AP style) to interested contributors
To inquire about becoming a contributor, please e-mail Len Vermillion, our Group Managing Editor for our digital products, at email@example.com. We’d like to know a little about yourself and your areas of interest. If it looks like we have a mutual fit, we’ll proceed from there.
