A US $40 million contract has been awarded to FMC Technologies by Petrobras for the supply of three subsea boosting stations to help increase oil recovery rates from the operator’s Parque das Baleias development offshore Brazil. The development is located in the deepwater Campos Basin.
“The Horizontal Boosting Station for the Parque das Baleias project is FMC Technologies’ third implementation of this type of subsea boosting technology for Petrobras,” said Tore Halvorsen, FMC Technologies’ senior vice president, subsea technologies.
