Fugro has won a contract worth US $90 million by Pemex for ultra-deepwater geotechnical and pilot hole (drilling and logging) services associated with the de-risking of drilling locations and field developments proposed for offshore Mexico. The overall duration of the geoconsulting and drilling activity is expected to be 14 months. Fugro uses ultra-deepwater vessels such as the Fugro Synergy for this kind of work.
