Genesis has won a concept selection study and pre-FEED work covering BG Group’s deepwater gas finds offshore Tanzania. The discoveries to date in Blocks 1, 3 and 4, with estimated recoverable reserves totalling 470 Bcm, are located in water depths ranging from 1,000-1,800 m (3,281-5,906 ft). The workscope covers the production system which will provide gas to feed an onshore LNG plant.
