From the Associated Press to the Houston Chronicle to FOX and NBC news affiliates, Hart Energy’s Digital News Group editors bring decades of collective journalism experience to the new HartEnergy.com, which is set to launch Feb. 4. This core group of energy industry journalists will bring you the daily industry news and happenings, exclusive executive interviews and energy sector trends each and every day on a variety of platforms including articles, columns, videos, infographics and photography that you won’t find anywhere else.
But they aren’t alone. They are supported by a worldwide network of experienced energy correspondents in shale plays across the U.S. and in offshore regions such as the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico and South America. HartEnergy.com contributors also are stationed in the Middle East, Asia, North Africa and Australia. And this network is growing rapidly.
The Digital News Group editors and contributors bring a wealth of knowledge and connections to our coverage having extensively covered the oil and gas industry, both onshore and offshore, and they use that access to cover a vast array of topics including acquisitions and divestitures, exploration activity, midstream, production technology, policy and regulatory matters and renewable energy, to name a few.
Columnists come from a variety of sectors and many are well-known to industry insiders. We’ve recently welcomed veteran energy industry journalist Jeff Share into our collection of columnists.
We’re upgrading our video capabilities to boot. So expect to hear directly from more top executives and analysts in the oil and gas and renewable energy sectors as we move forward.
Among the new offerings you’ll find is a daily news and interview program called Hart Energy Connect. The program airs Tuesday through Friday exclusively on HartEnergy.com and is hosted by veteran television news anchor Jessica Morales. It also regularly features exclusive interviews with newsmakers, energy executives, analysts and politicians discussing big picture topics within the industry. The program is available via podcast as well.
But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. HartEnergy.com is your place to find everything you need to know, every day, about the energy industry. To make that happen we need your input. We’re always on the look-out for new ideas for features and videos, and we want you to let us know what you want us to cover. My inbox is always open at lvermillion@hartenergy.com.
Our editors, too, welcome your comments, story pitches and questions. To make it easy, I’ve listed the contact information for the editors in charge of each of HartEnergy.com’s vertical categories.
Don’t just tell us what you want to read and watch; let us know how you can contribute. Maybe you’d like to be part of our contributor network? Maybe you have something to say and would like to be part of our executive video interview series? Perhaps you can offer commentary on stories and trends?
HartEnergy.com is a site built to be our site—you, me and everyone else in the industry—and we want all of us to be part of making it the most comprehensive and useful site for energy professionals available.
