Australia’s Woodside Petroleum has confirmed the award of three Frontier Exploration Licenses offshore Ireland which were converted from previous Licensing Options.
Ireland’s Petroleum Affairs Division awarded FEL 3/14 – previously LO 11/4; and FEL 4/14 – previously LO 11/6, and FEL 5/15, previously LO 11/10, completing the conversion of all of Woodside’s Irish options to frontier licenses. Woodside now operates FEL 3/14 and 4/14 with 85% and 5/15 with 60%.
