Keane Group Inc. (NYSE: FRAC) has appointed Robert W. Drummond to CEO and director of Keane, the company said on May 16.
Following a transition period with his current employer, Keane expects Drummond to assume his roles as CEO and as director on or prior to September 1, 2018. At that time James Stewart, current chairman and CEO of Keane, will remain as executive chairman of the board of directors.
Drummond brings extensive industry experience, serving as CEO of Key Energy Services Inc. (NYSE: KEG). Prior to his time at Key Energy, Drummond served for more than 30 years at Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB) in various executive positions.
“I am pleased to join the Keane team at such an important time and am excited to build upon Keane’s strong reputation and successful track-record,” Drummond said.
