Subsea operations support player Maritime Developments has won contracts worth in the region of £7 million (US $10.5 million). The company secured an order for its portable overside vertical lay system from an unnamed installation contractor, with Maritime Developments to deliver a bespoke vertical lay system tower along with a 4-track tensioner to support a North Sea development. The business has also delivered a package of 10 winches, ranging from five tonnes to 40 tonnes specifications, for an international client. It has also delivered a 500-tonne reel drive system to another client for a project in the United States.
