PDC Energy Inc. has entered into definitive agreements to acquire two privately held companies managed by Kimmeridge Energy Management Co. for about $1.5 billion. The transaction includes about 57,000 net acres in Reeves and Culberson counties in Texas with an average working interest of about 93%. The transaction is expected to close in fourthquarter 2016.
