Plans for expanding production at existing assets in the US Gulf have been unveiled by independent Murphy Oil.
A third producer is planned for its deepwater Dalmatian South field in Desoto Canyon 134 by early 2016, it indicates, while a fourth development well will be added at the main Dalmatian field in DC4.
It is also moving forward with plans to expand production at the deepwater Medusa field in the Mississippi Canyon area, where two more production wells are due to be drilled later this year as subsea tiebacks to the main Medusa facility, with first production in 2015.
