Neptune Energy has on Jan. 23 appointed Kaveh Pourteymour as CIO, based in London. He will take up the new role in the first half of 2019.
Pourteymour is currently vice president and CIO of Seadrill Management. Prior to joining Seadrill, he held CIO roles with BP’s Global Refining and International Businesses and with BOC Edwards. He has also held roles with KPMG and Oracle.
Pourteymour holds a degree in Computer Science from Manchester University and also a degree in IT Strategic Planning from Warwick University, where he also served as a research fellow for a number of years. Since 2008 has he held the position of adjunct professor at the business school of Imperial College London.
