Petrofac said April 3 it has received a letter of award from Vedanta Ltd. for its Raageshwari deep gas field development project located in Barmer, Rajasthan, India.
The lump-sum engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) project, valued at approximately $233 million, is for integrated gas surface facilities and includes pre-commissioning and commissioning. Under the terms of the 23-month contract, the scope of work includes well pads, flowlines and a new gas processing terminal.
“This award is further confirmation of our organic growth ambitions in action. It is particularly pleasing that we continue to build our presence in-country following two other recent EPC contract awards,” Sunder Kalyanam, Petrofac’s group managing director, said
“We are delighted to be supporting Vedanta Limited in the safe and efficient delivery of this important project and look forward to building a long and successful relationship together.”
