Reef Subsea has won a pair of contracts worth more than US $15m in total for subsea support work offshore West Africa. The contractor will deploy its subsea construction support vessel Reef Larissa on two unnamed projects in the Republic of Congo and Equatorial Guinea. The work involves installation of structures, ROV surveys and commissioning support in water depths of up to 1,400 m (4,593 ft), and will be executed by Reef’s Bergen-based inspection, maintenance and repair & construction division where onshore engineering will also be carried out. Reef declined to name the clients, identifying them only as “blue-chip operating companies”.
