Subsea 7 has clinched a contract for Anadarko and its partners on the Heidelberg development in the Gulf of Mexico.
The workscope includes the engineering, fabrication, and installation of risers, pipelines, and flowlines in water depths of more than 1,600 m (5,250 ft). Project management and engineering will start immediately at Subsea 7’s offices in Houston. Offshore operations are due to start in the fourth quarter of 2014, with pipelay activities to be carried out by the Seven Borealis.
