Statoil and Total have agreed an asset swap in the Barents Sea, with the Norwegian operator to acquire 10% equity in Production Licence 535 in exchange for a 10% equity in PL395. Both are situated on the Bjarmeland platform in the central Barents, where the companies have proved gas resources including the Ververis discovery in PL395 (2008) and the Norvarg discovery in PL535 (2011).
