Norway’s Oceanteam Shipping has been selected to supply a 2,000 tonne modular carousel for a flexible pipe installation vessel in Ceona’s offshore fleet. Oceanteam is to deliver the carousel as well as a loading tower with a 15 tonne tensioner through its subsidiary RentOcean for a one-year firm contract, with options for another year. The modular equipment will be installed on the Ceona vessel Polar Onyx and used for flexible pipe installation projects offshore Brazil this year and next.
