Aker Solutions has announced plans to open an advanced drilling equipment simulator in Houston in early 2012. Doubling the capacity of the company’s current 911-sq-m (9,800-sq-ft) training center in Katy, Texas, the 240-degree domed simulator will create a real-time visualization of drilling operations.
Fiberspar has expanded its LinePipe flowline technology used for production gathering and injection applications into Australia via its newly created Fiberspar Australia Pty.
