Black Bear Transmission completed a divestiture of gas gathering assets in Mississippi. The deal included the sale of over 120 miles of natural gas pipelines and eight active metered locations. Black Bear Chief Commercial Officer Scott Langston said the company transferred over 700 miles of pipelines in the past three years.
Energy infrastructure company MDU Resources completed a spinoff of its construction material subsidiary Knife River. The deal allows MDU to continue working toward becoming a pure-play regulated energy delivery company. Meanwhile, Knife River became an independent, publicly traded company through the spinoff.
