Independent oil and gas company Amplify Energy Corp. has named Vidisha Prasad to its board. She will join the audit committee, according to an Oct. 5 press release.
Prasad is a managing partner of investment firm Adya Partners, Amplify reported. Previously, she was a founding member of Guggenheim Securities' energy investment banking practice and worked in Citi's energy i-banking group. She was a board member of the Centennial Resource Development, which merged into Colgate Energy, forming Permian Resources, in 2022.
“Vidisha’s wealth of experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in M&A, capital markets and finance, will be of significant value to Amplify and its shareholders, and we look forward to her immediate contribution at our next regularly scheduled board meeting in November,” Chris Hamm, Amplify’s chairman of the board, said in the release.
Amplify also announced Randal T. Klein will not seek reelection as a director at the company's 2024 annual meeting of stockholders, but will continue to serve for the remainder of his term as a director until the meeting.
