From the mine to the blender, Hi-Crush combines every element of the proppant supply process to enhance hydraulic fracturing programs with industry leading standards of quality, reliability, economics and safety.

MINE

World-class Hi-Crush mining operations ensure a high-quality supply of all grades of Northern White sand and fine-mesh Permian Pearl™ proppant. Our five production facilities are a long-term resource with an annual production capacity of 13.4 million tons. This huge capacity assures confident planning and execution of a single completion or a multi-well, multi-stage hydraulic fracturing program.

We focus on mining efficiency for surety of supply. Each mine site is selected for the quality and extent of its reserves, and a minimal geological overburden that expedites excavation.

Our purpose-built facilities apply a proven process for efficient excavation, washing, drying and sorting of high-quality proppant.

From finished product storage silos, Hi-Crush production facilities provide fast, efficient and uninterrupted supply of proppant to major U.S. shale basins. Our Wisconsin facilities load unit trains to improve efficiency and expedite delivery to our network of owned and operated in-basin terminals. In the Permian basin, our Kermit facility—an in-basin industry first and already a major resource for high quality fine-mesh reserves—has direct truck access to serve more than 80% of Delaware and Midland basin operations within a 50-mi radius. http://www.hicrush.com/facility/kermit/

MOVE

Repeatable, reliable, flexible and scalable, the Hi-Crush logistics network integrates the full supply chain to provide cost-effective proppant delivery.

We have 13 owned and operated terminals in the Marcellus, Utica, DJ and Permian basins – the largest such terminal network in the U.S. In the Permian and Northeast, approximately 75% of proppant demand is located within just 50 miles of our owned and operated terminals. Including third-party terminals, we provide proppant and logistics services in all U.S. shale basins.

Our terminals are strategically located for rail access—seven are dedicated unit train terminals that further enhance availability and efficiency. Each terminal is supported by an experienced, proactive railcar management team, ensuring an uninterrupted supply of sand. Our Kermit, Texas, facility is specially designed for efficient in-basin Permian trucking operations.

The depth of this resource is significant. Collectively, our terminals provide 120 thousand tons of vertical silo storage, with an additional 74 thousand tons of rail storage capacity. http://www.hicrush.com/facility/distribution-terminals/

MANAGE

Hi-Crush proppant resources and logistics are focused on delivery to the wellsite through our PropStream™ last mile service. A fully integrated solution, PropStream manages the entire proppant procurement process with the flexibility to meet any customer need. Tell our experts what you need and where you want it – we’ll take care of the rest.

Purpose-built PropStream equipment delivers significant advantages in safety, efficiency, and reliability.

The fully enclosed system eliminates dust-related health issues presented by pneumatic operations, removing 90% of particulate matter emissions typically produced by wellsite sand operations. One major operating company gave us a perfect score in five wellsite audits, an unprecedented accomplishment.

Specialized PropStream containers and our PropBeast™ wellsite frac sand conveyer provide the industry’s most accurate delivery of sand to the blender. The advanced system supports precise execution of complex completions that demand various mesh sizes and pump rates. Highly reliable with 99% uptime, the system ensures job execution is not interrupted. Sand inventory at the wellsite and pumped with each stage is closely monitored to optimize results, ensure quality, and reduce waste.

PropStream sand containers make delivery fast and efficient. Compared to pneumatic systems, our trucks are typically on and off the wellsite in less than 10 minutes while delivering greater tonnage per truck. The time savings are significant, and can translate to more stages pumped per day. A smaller, more flexible footprint compared to pneumatic system bins or silos provides new capabilities for improving wellsite efficiency and safety. https://bit.ly/2wtUGi1
