Brazil’s Petrobras has begun oil production at its P-75 platform in the presalt area of the Santos Basin, the state-run oil company said Nov. 12.

The FPSO, located in the Buzios 2 oil field, will be able to produce up to 150,000 barrels per day of oil and six million cubic meters of natural gas, the company’s statement said.

P-75 is the fourth platform to start production this year. It follows the FPSO Cidade Campos dos Goytacazes in the Tartaruga Verde Field, the P-69 in the Lula Field and the P-74 in the Búzios Field.
