ConocoPhillips has retained Jefferies & Co. Inc. to sell certain assets in tthe upper Texas Gulf Coast.

The Upper Texas Gulf Coast package includes operated assets in several fields in Refugio, Fort Bend and Gregg counties, Texas. Total net production is approximately 2,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

Fields include: 100% working interest in Willow Springs Field producing from the Cotton Valley, Travis Peak, Pettet and Rodessa formations with infill drilling opportunities and recompletions; Fulshear Field with 44% working interest producing from the Wilcox; Cooley Field at 50% working interest with Meek and Upper Wilcox production; 55% in Endurace Field with Wilcox production; and 100% working interest in St. Charles Ranch producing the Frio sand.

The data room will open in June. The bid due date is July 19. The effective date is July 1. Closing is expected by the end of Ausgust.
