Through a collaboration announced Aug. 31, Vorpal Energy Solutions and Enventure Global Technology Inc. will provide the Drill2Frac technology and the ESeal Refrac technology to the unconventional drilling market. Both technologies together can identifiy and isolate target zones, enhancing total recoverable reserves.
Enventure is a solid expandable solutions company. Its expandable ESeal Refrac Liner provides mechanical zonal isolation of existing perforations and internal pressure integrity that enable greater predictability of planned fracture stages. This results in uniform injection during refracturing and provides a more predictable frack placement.
Vorpal's Drill2Frac helps optimize fracturing operations through optimal placement of perforation clusters.
Kumar Bashyam, co-founder and CEO of Vorpal, said that the collaboration with Enventure comes at a time when the industry’s goals are increased shale production and lowered exploitation costs.
Enventure Global Technology Inc. and Vorpal Energy Solutions are both based in Houston.
