The U.K.’s Environmental Agency has granted Cuadrilla the environmental permits for its proposed shale gas exploration site at Preston New Road, a press release said.
Cuadrilla CEO Francis Egan said the permit is a “seal of approval from the regulator that the exploration of shale gas can be done responsibly.”
