Edgo will provide oilfield services to Zambia’s developing oil and gas industry, a press release said July 26. Edgo is expanding its activities into Zambia and Malawi and is setting up an operation in Zambia's capital, Lusaka.
Also, Edgo Energy, the company’s E&P subsidiary, is considering participating in Zambia and Malawi’s upcoming block licensing rounds.
The oil industry in Zambia has been expanding with the building of a US$1.6 billion oil refinery starting this year.
