OMV and Gazprom have signed several agreements, including one that forms a scientific and technical partnership and another for oil supply.
According to a news release, the companies signed a document that outlines the main areas of scientific and technical collaboration, including gas production, transportation, processing, underground storage and sales, process safety, information security, energy efficiency and environmental protection. The companies will also partner in R&D management.
In addition, the second term sheet regarding an asset swap was signed. The document specifies the assets to be provided by OMV among other things, Gazprom said in a news release.
The two also signed an agreement for oil supply to OMV from Gazprom Group’s portfolio. As part of the deal, Gazprom said it will sell REBCO grade oil to OMV in 2016 on free on board terms. OMV may also be supplied with SILCO grade oil, the release said.
