Halliburton Co. opened a new headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia, the company said May 4. The office was opened April 27, and it is the headquarters for all Indonesia business lines, Halliburton said.
Mature fields, deepwater and unconventionals are the markets Halliburton focuses on in Indonesia.
The Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Sudirman Said, attended the ribbon cutting with Shannon Slocum, Halliburton’s vice president for Indonesia, and other executives from Indonesian oil and gas companies.
The 27,000 sq m facility is in the Bumi Serpong Damai area and includes offices, a warehouse and maintenance and training facilities. There are more than 2,000 employees.
