Norwegian energy firm Statoil has temporarily halted drilling on its Veslefrikk oil and gas field in the North Sea to interpret new seismic data, the company said March 12.
It hopes new seismic data for the field will contribute to find new profitable drilling targets. The drilling halt is expected to last for at least six months, it said in a statement.
