London-based Subsea 7 SA (OSLO: SUBC.OL) was awarded a US$200 million, two-year contract to install flexible lines for Petrobras’ projects from its Seven Seas construction vessel, the company said April 13. The contract is a direct extension of a 2013 contract in which it has been doing similar work for Petrobras (NYSE: PBR).

Seven Seas works in up to 3,000 m of water, and its flexible pipelay system has 430-tonne top tension capacity. The work scope will include engineering and installation services for client-supplied flowlines, umbilicals and subsea equipment.
