Technip was awarded a subsea contract by Chevron Indonesia for the Bangka Development located in the Rapak production-sharing contract area about 70 km (43 miles) offshore the province of East Kalimantan, Indonesia.
The contract covers engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning and precommissioning of flexibles, umbilical and subsea structures.
Technip also was awarded a contract by EnQuest for engineering, procurement, installation and construction for the Kraken development located in the North Sea 400 km (249 miles) northeast of Aberdeen and 130 km (81 miles) east of Shetland at a water depth of about 120 m (394 ft).
The contract covers various project management engineering and installation works including fabrication and pipelay of about 50 km (31 miles) of rigid pipe, installation of 3 umbilicals totaling 14 km (9 miles), installation of 7 km (4 miles) of flexible risers and jumpers, template and manifold installation at three drill centers, diverless tie-ins to pipelines and manifolds, pipeline flooding, hydro testing and leak testing.
