John Wood Group Plc (LONDON: WG.L) was awarded a five-year, multibillion-dollar contract by Total SA (NYSE: TOT), US$ multi-million contract by Total, Wood Group said March 31. The contract is effective immediately, the company added.
Wood Group will provide engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services to Total’s offshore Alywn, Dunbar, Elgin and Franklin platforms on the U.K. Continental Shelf, and the St. Fergus gas terminal and the Shetland gas plant. It also will work on the onshore receiving facility for Laggan Tormore, which starts production later this year.
The contract includes the option for two one-year extensions, the company said.
